Lemon Pepper Seasoning
This is a simple seasoning which tastes great on chicken and steaks of as part of a salad dressing. You can adjust the quantity of salt to taste.
Zest from 3 lemons
2 tablespoons black peppercorns
Approx 1/2 tablespoon of sea salt (add more or less to taste)
1. Mix the lemon zest and peppercorns together and spread out on a baking tray.
2. Place in the oven on the lowest setting for approx 1 hour until the zest has dried out.
3. Add sea salt and grind together in a pepper grinder.
4. Store in an airtight container. Will keep for months.
